More Fermi pulsars
A number of groups have been looking at unidentified Fermi sources with radio telescopes and it has paid off. Most of the new identifications are associated with millisecond pulsars. Still need to do more work to find the radio quiet ones.
No pants, no subway
This past Saturday New York celebrated the annual No Pants! subway ride. A bit cold for it but then again pantless rides are probably not out of the ordinary during the over-humid New York summers.

All about the Keplers
The American Astronomical Society meeting is at full steam in Washington, DC. The Kepler mission has reported its first 5 planets. Still no Earth-sized examples, but it will fly until 2012. A lot could happen until then.
